Yay :-) So glad you like it. Mare and I are working on setting up a show on the OR coast this fall. See you then.

Q

Hi Mare. Wisconsin!

Mare Wakefield & Nomad responded on 04/13/2011
A

Ooooh, we were just thinking about WI. One of our good friends who is also a musician lived and worked up there his entire life. Perhaps we'll go up with him and do stuff together. it's new territory and we would need help setting up good shows there. Ideas for festivals and venues?

Q

Hey Mare, do you write all your own music, or would you consider doing some interesting songs a friend of ours wrote? Looking forward to your Prescott debut!!! Deb & Dave

Mare Wakefield & Nomad responded on 04/13/2011

Hi guys,
Sure, would love to hear your friend's song. Send an email to nomad@audioauthoriteis.com

see you soon.

Q

Hi Mare! You're great, and inspiring. Hope to see you live in the Midwest sometime. Gotta go pack up my stuff.

Currently planning our fall CD release tour. We'll be in IA, MN, NE and probably MO. Let us know if your state is not on that list and we'll try to get there! Thanks so much :-)

Q

Reminds me of the question How do I get to Carnegie Hall? Maybe mention the curse of temporary plateaus in the learning curves of musicianship, they really are temporary... Kisses

Mare Wakefield & Nomad responded on 03/31/2011
A

Ha! Exactly! I think Nomad actually answered that one. I'll have to ask him if they have the same joke in Turkish :-) I like to think of those "temporary plateaus" as training times. You're not always running a big race, sometimes you're just staying in shape for future big races. Speaking of which, I better go for my run before it starts to rain! Thanks for the question and thanks for listening!! xoxo ~m

Q

What advice would you give beginner artists?

Mare Wakefield & Nomad responded on 03/27/2011
A

Practice, practice practice. The rest will follow. You must feel good about your craft before you think about how to sell it.

Q

How are you Miss Mare? I see you've got a pretty big calendar this summer. I have asked Newt@ravencafe.com to listen to you and hopefully they will work something out to play here in Prescott, AZ.

Mare Wakefield & Nomad responded on 03/11/2011
A

Yay, thanks so much. Nomad and I will check in with the Ravencafe folks. We'll start putting a fall sched together soon.

Q

Ok Sweetness, you asked: The common thread in all your music is Scorpio passion, so howabout the name Passion or Nomad's Passion, or something like that? Ok, we love you tons. Neil n Sally in Eugen

Hey you guys....so good to hear from you.
Thanks a lot for your input. Still working on that band name. Maybe we'll have one for the next record. Nomad is right here...he likes "Nomad's Passion" :-)
Hope to see you when we come back this fall.

Q

I used to watch you play in Oregon...are you planning any pacific northwest dates?

Hey there :-)
